Sustainability Highlight

Depending on how steeped you are in the weeds (pardon the pun) of the cannabis industry, you may or may not have an opinion on “indoor” vs. “sun-grown” cannabis. During the dawn of legalization, indoor growing facilities were a major innovation in growing cannabis at a large scale.

Now, though, those same innovations threaten to stomp out natural, biodynamic weed farms whose legacies span generations. Not only that, but these mega-sized indoor operations are perilous to the environment, stomping out greener pastures in more ways than one.

Not only are these outdoor grows essential to preserving organic bud, they’re also greatly beneficial to the environment.

The Pairist is deeply committed to working with legacy cannabis cultivators in California’s Emerald Triangle – firstand foremost to cultivate high-quality cannabis, but also to respect our planet’s dwindling resources and ensure its viability for future generations.

Importantly, sun-grown cannabis is also often produced by smaller, local growers with personal investments in their community. These products support local economies while helping to create a more diverse cannabis market.

It’s a buyer’s market, and the success of sun-grown operations relies on consumer power. Don’t forget, your dollar is your vote – even when you’re toking up!
